Large 8kg Drum, 1400 spin, A+++ rated Washing Machine. Immaculate.
 
It’d be WELL worth taking a few minutes to read the review below... this machine has so many impressive useful features to include a large 8kg drum size, a spin speed of 1400rpm (clothes come out SO much drier after washing), a really handy 20 minute quick wash, a steam function which means you hardly have to iron your clothes! a BETTER than A+++ rating and the ability to kill 99.9% of bacteria - so important nowadays! and not forgetting my personal favourite - you can open the door mid cycle to add more washing in! (handy for that forgotten random sock that got away…) loads more features too. Lovely condition, works brilliantly.

It features a Steam Pack, which is dedicated to keeping laundry fresh and can be used at the end of a cycle, or just to freshen up clothing.
 
A Steam Hygiene function, which has been approved by Allergy UK, removes all bacteria as an add-on at the end of any programme, without the use of chemical additives.
This is a standalone button that's part of the control panel, along with a separate anti-allergy cycle and a rapid wash, that latter taking just 30 minutes to complete.
 
Multiple programmes are controlled through a dial including the Steam Refresh setting, which is less than 20 minutes from start to finish, using less than the equivalent of two glasses of water.
 
This breathes new life into clothes, reducing creases and odours. A gentle drum action is initiated when the wool programme is selected, as it does for bed and bath linen.
 
Another way to reinvigorate a load is the Final Care button, which can keep tumbling, after a cycle has finished, to keep clothes soft until you're there with the washing basket.
 
You can also stop and add garments, in the first few minutes of a programme, at the push of a button which pauses the process.
 
The estimated consumption is just 177 kWh per year, with the 10 per cent a sum total of which it's more economical than A+++ only alternatives.
 
Start a programme exactly when you want to, through the 24-hour Delay Start timer.
A digital inverter motor changes speed as required, rather than stopping and starting.

This machine has a decent capacity for most families needs. With an 8kg drum and a 1400rpm spin speed, it will wring most of the excess water from your clothes before letting you know it’s done with a friendly beep.
An 8kg drum also leaves you with plenty of space for the times when a large load is needed. It is happy to run through your daily wash whilst ensuring it doesn’t use more water or energy than the wash cycle requires with its A+++ energy rating. 
This Hotpoint washing machine is actually more efficient than this class allows, as it is 10% better that a standard A+++ machine would be. 
Another impressive feature is its extensive list of laundry settings. One of my personal favourites is the steam refresh option; this gem of a feature allows you to quickly freshen up clothes, saving you time, energy and water in a convenient 20-minute wash cycle. The steam function also has the convenient added benefit of reducing the need to iron clothes, as it will remove most of the creases. It can also be used to kill 99.9% of bacteria, meaning you can sterilise your clothes without the need to increase the temperature and potentially damaging them. In the spirit of keeping things clean, this model also features an anti-allergy cycle, which helps to remove detergents and allergens that could cause skin irritation.
 
Its rapid wash option will reduce the wash time by up to 50% with no sacrifice in wash quality allowing you to get those urgent loads washed sooner rather than later.
Speaking of the quality of the wash, this Hotpoint comes with a wool cycle that has been approved by the Woolmark Company as a valid wash to use for woollen garments that have the “Hand Wash” label. This allows you to wash them in a convenient manner without sacrificing their wonderful softness. The wool cycle is only 1 of 17 cycles available to help you get perfect results from your washing.
We all forget things from time to time and nothing annoys me more than seeing that one elusive sock lying next to the wash basket. There is no need to worry about this due to the added ability to pause a wash, allowing you to pop that sock into the drum for the first few minutes of the cycle.
Hotpoint impresses even further with its motor technology. This model uses an inverter motor, which gives you long lasting performance and improves end results. These motors also allow for much finer control over the spinning of the drum and enable it to change direction if the programme dictates the need for it, allowing for better wash results.
